The Priory, Ticehurst
Description
Works were carried out to the buildings, the front façade to the main building and The Grange. Works involved completely re-roofing The Grange in Welsh Slate with structural timber repairs to the roof and extensive brickwork repairs to the chimneys and parapets. The main building includes huge areas of re-rendering and repairs together with the overhauling of the sash windows which required extensive repair. The building was then re-decorated using the Keim Mineral Paint system. All of the works were carried out whilst the patients were in residence.
The works involved:
- Full access scaffold
- Stucco repairs, general conservation
- Lime render replacement
- Overhauling all windows and joinery
- Re-roofing of The Grange in Welsh Slate
- Rainwater goods overhaul / replacement
- Re-decorations
