River Hall, Waldringfield
Description
This unusual project involved re-building a ‘Peach’ retaining wall. The existing wall had collapsed due to land slide. The new wall was designed with a block work reinforced retaining wall with a handmade brick facing in lime mortar to match the existing structure, capped with a hand made gault clay coping.
The works involved:
- Groundworks.
- Block work reinforced retaining wall built to engineers’ design.
- Traditional brickwork.
- Land / French drainage works.
