Eight Elms Farm, Wimpole
Description
Eight Elms Farm roof was in a very poor state and needed completely re-roofing. The roof was stripped and as many tiles salvaged as possible. Once stripped, there were numerous timber repairs carried out before being felted and re-tiled using the saved peg tiles; the shortfall being made up of locally sourced matching good quality peg tiles.
The finished result was very pleasing.
The works involved:
- Complete re-roofing using reclaimed clay peg tiles.
- Overhauling of existing roof structure.
- Window Care System repairs to all of the joinery.
- Render repairs and replacement.
- Complete re-decoration.
