St Mary & St Giles, Stony Stratford
The works involved:
The main element of the works was to supply and install a new paved area for the relocated font. The design incorporated 4 different stone types and its success was down to the accurate production of cutting templates, the predominately wavy units and the skill and care of the fixers.
Other elements of the works included laying a sandstone floor around the central font base and the relocation, decoration and polishing of existing furniture.
