St Johns College, First Court - Paving Works
Description
In planning and cosmetic terms this project was of major importance to St Johns College. The project involved lifting the historic cobbled walkways and laying York Stone paving with ramp access for disabled users.
The York Stone was researched and sourced to match other York Stone used within the College.
The final result is outstanding as the York Stone blends in with the newly made good cobbled areas giving the courtyard the look and feel that it has always been there.
The works involved:
- Groundworks.
- New York Stone paving.
- Cobbling.
- Stone walling and steps.
