Gonville & Caius College O&N Staircase
Description
This project involved complication scaffold access to the mansard and flat roof areas within the Colleges’ courtyard. The works mainly involved lead work and slating, and stonework together with timber repairs and overhauling of the windows and rainwater goods.
The works involved:
- New lead roof using sand cast lead.
- New lead gutters.
- Window Care System.
- New Westmoreland Green slating works.
- Lightning conductor system.
- Latching safety access system.
- External decorations.
- Extensive scaffolding.
- Stonework to chimneys.
- Timber repairs.
