Earth Sciences - Phase II, South Elevation
Description:
Extensive lead work, tiling and scaffolding formed the main part of this project. Lead flat roofs were replaced using milled lead with hollow roll sections, lead gutters and weatherings were all replaced. Plain tiles were stripped and replaced with tiled valley and hip details. The cast iron rainwater goods were extensively overhauled, dormer windows refurbished and a complete redecoration together with some minor stonework repairs.
The works involved:
- Lead work using milled lead.
- Tiling works using plain tiles.
- Extensive scaffolding.
- Cast iron rainwater goods overhaul.
- Redecorations.
